As an American, I can certainly understand the cult of personality, and the head scratching ways that polarizing people obtain public office. I am of course being quite sarcastic, as a reality TV show star, admitted “Pussy Grabber” (sorry honey) and accused Russian collaborator occupies the highest office on Planet Earth.

So I can see how all of the candidates running in the upcoming election for Panama are beset with anguish in that a man currently incarcerated in El Renacer can not only successfully campaign for Mayor, but also if were to run in the election for PRESIDENT,…TODAY,….WHILE IN PRISON,….would most likely WIN.  

As this statement is non scientific and merely based off my interactions with many many Panamanian citizens, it is just an opinion. But a highly informed and easily reinforced one however. Just ask your local Panamanians.

This interview of the CD candidate Romulo Roux, reveals the very uphill battle both he and every other candidate are facing.

Like I said, “The Cult of Personality”. It is real and tangible. Some have it and some don’t.

When I applied for a candidate, I presented what the Electoral Tribunal demands. It is a small plan, it has 18 pages and it is much more of those five axes. Apart we are going to concentrate from day one on the creation of 400 thousand jobs, which is one of the axes that you mention.
